Leo lives in a large city. The streets are busy and loud. Cars honk their horns. People walk fast. Leo does not mind the noise. He likes his life. He works in a small shop on a corner. The shop sells paper, pens, and notebooks. It is a quiet place inside.

She folds the map carefully. She puts it in her bag. She picks up her umbrella. “Goodbye, Leo.”

“Goodbye,” says Leo.

The woman leaves. The bell rings again. Leo watches her walk down the street. She walks slower now. She looks peaceful. Leo feels good. He did not make money, but he helped someone. That is better.

He goes back to his book. The rain stops. The sun comes out. A ray of light hits the floor. Leo smiles. It is a good day.
