Anna is a young woman. She lives in a small flat in the city. Every day she goes to work in an office. She likes her job but she wants a new shirt for the party on Saturday.
On Friday after work, Anna goes to the shop. The shop is near her flat. She looks at the shirts. There is a blue shirt and a red shirt. The blue shirt is nice but it is very big. The red shirt is small but the colour is too bright.
A shop assistant comes to help. “Hello,” she says. “Can I help you?”
“Yes,” says Anna. “I need a new shirt for a party.”
The assistant smiles. “What colour do you like?”
“I like green,” says Anna.
The assistant finds a green shirt. It is the right size. Anna goes to the changing room. She puts on the green shirt. It looks good. The colour is not too bright and it is not too big.
Anna buys the green shirt. She pays with her card. “Thank you,” says the assistant.
Anna goes home with the new shirt in a bag. She is happy. On Saturday she wears the green shirt to the party. Her friends like it. “You look nice!” they say.
Anna smiles. “Thank you. I like my new shirt.”
She dances with her friends and has a good time at the party. At the end of the night she goes home and thinks, “This was a good day.”
