Reading Short Story15 with Yolo, Asi and Moon Light

01- It was a sunny morning in Somerset, and Brother was excited to wake up his sister for her birthday. He had planned a special day for her, full of surprises and fun. He tiptoed into her room and gently shook her shoulder.

02- “Happy birthday, sis!” he whispered in her ear.

Sister opened her eyes and smiled. She hugged him and thanked him for remembering her special day.

“What do you have in mind for today?” she asked.

03- Brother grinned and said, “You’ll see. But first, let’s have some breakfast. I made your favourite pancakes with maple syrup and strawberries.”

04- They went downstairs and enjoyed the delicious breakfast that Brother had prepared. He also gave her a card and a gift wrapped in colourful paper.

“Open it, open it!” he urged.

05- Sister tore the paper and gasped. It was a pair of tickets to the Somerset County Fair, which was happening that weekend.

“Wow, thank you so much, bro! I’ve always wanted to go there!” she exclaimed.

06- Brother smiled and said, “You’re welcome. And that’s not all. I also booked us a ride on the hot air balloon that flies over the fairground. It’s going to be amazing!”

Sister hugged him again and said, “You’re the best brother ever! I can’t wait to go!”

07- They finished their breakfast and got ready to leave. They took their bikes and rode to the fairground, which was only a few miles away. They parked their bikes near the entrance and bought their wristbands that allowed them to access all the rides and attractions.

08- They had a blast at the fair, trying out different games, eating cotton candy and popcorn, watching the circus performers and the animal shows, and riding the Ferris wheel, the carousel, the roller coaster, and the bumper cars. They laughed and screamed and cheered as they enjoyed themselves.

09- The highlight of the day was the hot air balloon ride. They climbed into the basket and put on their safety belts. The pilot greeted them and explained how the balloon worked. He then turned on the burner and filled the balloon with hot air. The basket lifted off the ground and soared into the sky.

10- Brother and Sister were amazed by the view from above. They could see the whole fairground, as well as the surrounding countryside, with its green fields, hills, forests, rivers, and villages. They felt like they were flying in a dream.

11- They took pictures and videos with their phones and waved at the people below. The pilot pointed out some landmarks and told them some interesting facts about the area. They learned a lot about Somerset’s history, culture, and nature.

12- They stayed in the air for about an hour, then descended back to the ground. They thanked the pilot for the wonderful experience and got off the basket.

“That was awesome!” Brother said.

13- “I loved it!” Sister said.

They hugged each other and agreed that it was the best birthday ever.

14- They rode their bikes back home, feeling happy and grateful for having each other as siblings. They shared their stories with their parents, who were proud of them for being so thoughtful and adventurous. They had a family dinner with cake and candles, then watched a movie together on the couch.

15- As they went to bed, Brother wished his sister good night and sweet dreams.

“Good night, bro. And thank you for everything,” Sister said.

16- “You’re welcome, sis. And happy birthday,” Brother said.

They fell asleep with smiles on their faces, looking forward to more adventures together.
