Once upon a time, in a small village named Willowgrove, there lived a woman named Sarah. Sarah loved nature. She had a garden full of flowers, trees, and bushes. Every day after work, she would spend time in her garden. It was her special place.
One sunny Saturday morning, Sarah decided to have a garden party. She wanted to invite her friends and family to enjoy the beauty of her garden. She thought about the food, games, and decorations. “This will be the best party ever!” she said with a smile.
Sarah started planning. First, she wrote a list of people to invite. There were ten friends she wanted to join. She liked each one for different reasons. Maria was a good cook, Tom was funny, and Lucy was great at telling stories. Sarah was excited to see them all together in her garden.
Next, she prepared the food. Sarah decided to make sandwiches, fruit salad, and lemonade. Maria offered to bring her famous chocolate cake. Sarah was happy. She knew everyone loved chocolate cake. Tom said he would bring some games, like a frisbee and a kite. “This will be a fun day!” he said.
On the day of the party, Sarah woke up early. She wanted everything to be perfect. She cleaned her garden, cut the grass, and placed chairs and tables everywhere. She arranged beautiful flowers on the tables and hung colourful decorations in the trees. The garden looked fantastic.
At 3 PM, the doorbell rang. It was Lucy. “Hello, Sarah! Your garden is beautiful!” she exclaimed. Sarah smiled and thanked her. Soon, everyone arrived. There was Tom, Maria, and five other friends. They all admired the garden and said nice things about it.
After everyone had settled down, they started to eat. Sarah served the sandwiches and fruit salad. Everyone enjoyed the food, and Maria’s chocolate cake was a big hit. “This is delicious!” said Tom with a mouthful of cake. They all laughed and agreed.
After lunch, it was time for games. Tom brought out the frisbee and the kite. They played games for hours, running and laughing together. Sarah felt happy. She looked around and saw her friends enjoying themselves. The sun shone bright, and the sky was clear.
Suddenly, Lucy stood still and pointed to the sky. “Look! There is a rainbow!” Everyone stopped playing and looked up. The rainbow was bright and beautiful, with many colours. “It looks magical!” Sarah said, feeling joyful.
The rainbow was the perfect decoration for their party. They decided to take a group photo with the rainbow in the background. They all gathered together, laughing and smiling, capturing the perfect moment.
As the sun began to set, Sarah and her friends sat together. They talked about their favourite memories and shared stories from their lives. They felt closer than ever.
Finally, as night fell, Tom suggested they light some candles and sit around the garden. The soft candlelight created a warm and cosy atmosphere. They sang songs and told funny stories until it was quite late.
When it was time to go home, Sarah felt a little sad. She didn’t want the day to end. But she was grateful for the wonderful time they had together. “Thank you all for coming! This was the best garden party!” she said.
Her friends hugged her and promised to do it again soon. Everyone left with big smiles on their faces. Sarah closed her garden gate, feeling happy and fulfilled. She looked at the stars in the sky and thought, “What a perfect day!”
And so, in her beautiful garden, Sarah knew that the secret to happiness was having good friends to share good times with.
